Unveiling Hidden Pests: Our Team Successfully Uncovers Vermin in a Yeronga Home

A plague of vermin can quickly cause substantial damage to any home, and these pests need to be taken seriously. Thankfully, there's no pest on the planet that can evade our team when we're brought in for a building inspection in Yeronga, or anywhere else in Brisbane.

The stains on the ceiling of this home was what first alerted our team that something was wrong. Initially we thought these stains may have been caused by moisture, but a closer look showed that they didn't match the profiles of water ingress. Instead, we quickly ascertained that the stains were owed to vermin faeces, most likely belonging to mice and rats.
We decided to investigate the stains from the other side, and slipped into the roof space. There, we were able to find further signs of vermin infestation, including extensive damage to electrical systems nearby to the stained area. This damage should present a major concern for any potential homeowner, as they can lead to seemingly-spontaneous fires, or even electrocution.

As soon as our building inspection in Yeronga had made this discovery, we reached out to both the buyer and the selling agent to make sure everyone was aware of the vermin and electrical problems. The selling agent immediately contacted the then-current owner of the home, who undertook extensive pest control and electrical work to make sure the problems were resolved. Having performed that work, as well as resolving a number of other minor issues our team identified, our client was satisfied with the home, and bought it with confidence.
